Ouija FAQ, for our mystical darlings!

  1. We use a standard, store-bought Ouija board from the 70’s.
  2. We always burn incense and a white candle for protection.
  3. Before we begin, we imagine a white light surrounding us and repelling any ill-will. Any user who has encountered their spirit guide can invite them to watch over us as well.
  4. We never ever attempt a connection while under the influence or altered in any way.
  5. We use one main speaker to address the spirits until we have solid communication.
  6. We ask for a benign and willing spirit to speak with us, and always practice patience and open-mindedness.
  7. We never invite the spirit to physically “prove” its presence.
  8. If a spirit begins saying things that make any of us feel uncomfortable, we close the board.
  9. To close the board properly, we move the planchette to “goodbye” and wait until the spirit responds. If they do not move to “goodbye” as well, we move it again and say ”goodbye” out loud.
  10. We do not recommend using the board alone, it is our opinion that groups are better (although not too large) and spirits are more inclined to connect when there are multiple energies focused on speaking with them.

I personally am quite against using an Oujia, simply because it’s...sure way to call
